Tawakkal

' Bismillahi Tawakkal tu Illallah. '

'In the name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, there is no might and no power except by Allah'

I will always remind myself to quote these and do it as a daily supplication to remind me, that there's no greater power than of Allah. And to always have YAKIN, or TRUST in Allah's judegement. For He is All-knowing and the Beneficient.

What I'm trying to say here is, we always plan things ahead of us. Yes, it's a good thing that you do. For he who plans is beneficial. But to always remember, that anything can happen, and that if only Allah would allow for it to go smoothly.

INSYAALLAH

Or in plain English, If Allah Wills. Reminding ourselves that we can only plan what is ahead. But the one who has control over all this is the Rabb. He is All-Knowing. Sometimes, I find myself stuck in a position where I'll scream and shout in my head, asking God 'WHY?' and 'WHAT?' else is there I can do to make things happen! Prayer after prayer. Dua' after Dua'. Dzikir after dzikir, when you least expect it. He comes at the right time with the solution to your problems.

We as muslims are always taught to refer to the Holy Book for any answers at all. ANY. Any question, refer to it. Be it factual or even fiction. It's all there. That's what they claim! And what they claim, is true. I've always asked many questions in my mind, and these i rather not share for they are for me and Allah alone. And Alhamdulillah, none have NOT been answered. It's just simply the case of opening the Quran and reading it. Of course, i am arabic illiterate, as such, the English translation would do. I look for answers and what Allah needs to say about it. And I always find something that answers my questions.

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah. It doesn't take a long time to take the Quran, open and read the translations. I'm sure, even if you were a busy billionaire like the Sheikhs of the Al-Maktoum family, you would do well to take some time and read it. 5 minutes? 10 minutes? good enough! But all is up to you. The answers are all there in front of you. You just need to read. And insyaAllah you'll find it.

When I was a kid, there always was a joke about us not understanding Arabic. So the usual teachers would say, LEARN! But my Ustaz, the one I learnt from so much (without realising) told me of how Allah is the Most Beneficient and Merciful. Ustaz said, even if we read the Quran, without knowing the meaning. We still get the pahala or reward from Him. See? So no reason for you NOT to pick it up!

Hahaha I just wanted to share this to others. Seemingly now is the time of exams, tests and submissions. I'm sure we have our 'boiling point' moments now and again. So remember, If ever you feel like you're gonna burst. Remember, things happen for a reason. We don't control what is going to happen. But what we can do is plan it's course. And trust Allah.

Salam :)
