Happy Merdeka Malaysia! Happy birthday. Though we might be going
through tough times, we'll pull through. There are millions of us who
still love you.

Weekend's Here?

Fourth Week at Ogilvy's been swift. Alhamdulillah so far so good. Didn't go to the office today though. Didn't feel so good. Perhaps it was the heavy rain the night before.

Anyway gotta get some sleep. Just some updates before writing a more proper entry:

- Eryne's birthday is tomorrow! The little kid's already 1yr old haha. Happy birthday love.

- I've just finished editting nearly 300 images. Another 100 to go. haihh. These are from kak Jijo's wedding reception (2 of them and another small ceremony)

- Also, Merdeka is just round the corner. Thinking of testing the new lens to its optimum there. :)

Till next time. Wishing all Muslims a good fast and ibadah in this holy month.

Lens!

Alhamdulillah. Papa agreed in getting me this superb lens. The canon
ef 24-105mm f4 L. Some think the 'L' is a joke. No no. It stands for
luxury. Sharpness, agility in focus and built quality.

Like the Mercedes AMG, BMW M sport, Audi Quattro and loads more, this
is like a dream come true. Alhamdulillah.

Insyallah I'll have more to look forward to. And by the way my 17-85
is now for sale at £230 only!! Negotiable haha.

Ramadhan

Hi everyone. Ramadhan is tomorrow. And tonight we'll start our first Tarawikh Prayers. As for me, this time around, I have personal achievements that I would like to achieve. In this Holy Month, I want to learn to forgive and forget. I want to repent on things of wrong that I've been doing.

Some people take Ramadhan, the fasting month as ONLY the fasting month. ie: fasting from food. But to me, it is more than that. It's a month where we 'fast' from our negative actions, words and thoughts. That's what I think Ramadhan is more about. Not only to live what others are living in the poor situations. We also have to 'LOOK AT THE MAN IN THE MIRROR' and see what we should change.

Being careful in every action, word and thoughts. Knowing that they are things that you've been doing which are wrong. I see a lot of young muslims out there. Just thinking that they can fast for the 8 hours a day, but forget the lesson behind it. Enjoying themselves and praising themselves that they've completed their fast for the whole day!

Ramadhan is also about repentance. Yes every human being has their own good and bad. I myself admit that perfection is not something that is ME. I'm just a human trying very hard to be what I can/want to be. And by repenting your mistakes, and not repeating them of course would help you on your way.

Of all, I wish all Muslims and Muslimah a well Ramadhan and Tarawikh. May Allah bless us all and accept our Ibadah and Repentance. And may we keep away from eating SO SO much during buka puasa/breaking of fast haha.

Salam from the Ramlan's. :)

Liza & Ab @ Kluang

Alhamdulillah their wedding went smoothly. I know I shouldve blogged
about it earlier. But am just caught up with bad timing. Haha.

Anyway third week at OgilvyAction is starting to sound like 'work'.
Proper stress and working environment is seeping in. Loving it, don't
get me wrong.

The people at OgilvyAction are just so nice (though they can be a
little quiet at times haha). They are friendly as. ;) loving the whole
experience. From the creative side of view. I'm really looking forward
to learning more and contributing my ideas and thoughts. I hope I
won't be a lot of trouble. Cause I HAVE been poking my ass in
practically every single brief I'm allowed to haha.

Now I understand how much committment you need to do the thong you
love. Especially when it isn't a 9-5 job. Just listening in certain
conversations/meetings made me realise how important little details
are. For they bring the bigger picture.

My Creative Director Jimmy said one evening (when I had to stay late
in the office to finish up some work for tomorrow) " welcome to the
advertising life. I hope you know what you're doing. ". Haha. Thanks
jimmy. That might sound like a warning for others. But an
encouragement for me. It's when you take the difficult, do what you
can and turn it to what you love doing. :)

Will update more soon. The fasting month is just around the corner.
Masyaallah. Time flies so fast.

Just that now I'm interning 9-5 everyday. Sometimes till 7pm. So

I always get this really weak phase whenever i think i cant. It's so annoying. Bring it on!

Day 1 @ Ogilvy!

Alhamdulillah. My first day at OgilvyAction went smooth. Was
introduced to the other staff. And they were a happy bunch of people. :)

Arrived in the morning (takes to mama for sending me. Luv u!) to find
that I was early. At 845am! Hehe. I was then assigned to my own table.
Wooooo. And my own computer. After some IT glitches everything went
alright. :)

Jimmy, my Creative Director showed me around. Which at the end of the
tour I had to ask where the loo was haha. Funny. I wasn't given much
to do. But I'm sure it takes time. I did try and be as proactive as I
can ie: laying off facebook and Twitter. Gosh. They are my best
friends in the time of boredom haha.

Khoo, one of the CD's and I sat down. To discuss what he and the team
can offer me. And of course what I can offer them. :) it was a
resourceful chat. And I am truly inspired. Insyaallah there will be
much to learn.

Can't wait or day two! Oh btw I've just got my new pair of glasses
today. Ehehe. You like it? :) simple plastic frame with clear glass. :)

Anyway will post more soon. Gotta get a good night's sleep.

Soon soon!

Alhamdulillah. I'm still able to write here on this blog. Although
it's been a terribly busy week for me. Soon to become much more busy
I'm afraid. Anyway tomorrow I'll be going to my aunt's house to help
her with cleaning.
