I HATE....

London Bridge - Cathedral - 2007

I hate the missiles flying around countries which are in desperate need of help. I hate the fact that missiles burn and destroy all in its path. I hate what the missiles leave behind. An incomplete family left after the whole destruction. The destruction it creates fumes the skies and the land. Water turns gray and kills the land’s plants. What’s left are ash and dust. What’s the fun in that? Blood. Gore. Suffering. Despair.

I hate the momentum which creates pain in a human’s heart. I hate it when it comes to killing and egoistic war. I hate war. I really do hate it. It might be too emotional but yes, I hate it. War creates problems which until today we haven’t been able to resolve. Yet again, people try to put smiles on their faces. As though nothing happened. Or do they? Well, it all depends on which staggers who’s heart. Does anyone really care what’s going on around them? Even if they do, are they doing anything?

A sad thing when it comes to facts and features of war. With new machinery and mechanics of demolition, things not changing. What are you shooting kids or? There’s more to it than that. Fight amongst yourselves if you must. Against someone your size. Someone your strength. Why can’t we just resolve things how we did before. Obviously it was a particular someone who wants the benefit all to himself. Or maybe her. Nobody wins. Nobody loses in the end. So why not just shut up and get ourselves cups of coffee and discuss it over. Rather than spending so much money on guns and bullets. Children don’t need those. They need books and education. They need tender loving care. They do not need bandages and such.

We are civilized and educated. Why can’t we just find a solution to which everyone will be happy with? I'm sure there is no solution to that. So someone has to give in. Right? Wrong? Maybe? Could be? Possibly. Well, why not try and see what the future has in store for us if we keep on fighting and shooting each other till either one gives up. What has history taught us we haven’t learned? What have we learned from evil ideologies such as Hitler. What have we learned from Napoleon’s great adventures. What have we learned really. But only tricks of the old to just cover up things of what wrong we’ve done.

No? We’re in the 21st century for Heaven’s sake. Let’s get together and understand each other. I’m sure it doesn’t take Einstein to learn how to respect each other right? Let’s just see what happens now. Isn’t it intriguing to know how we’ve lived all this while with hatred behind our backs and scarce egoism on our face? Let’s just face it. The world isn’t doing fine at all. We’ve got to do something before it’s too late.

above is an essay i wrote. Well not really an essay, 500 words of which will be turned into image+text double page spreads later. :)
