Flat Pack

Ola! Today me and the gang decided to head out to Digbeth and check out the Flatpack festival that has been going on from the 11th of March. An array of moving image, animation and collection of shows depicting the creative world and etc.

We only managed to go to two of the shows though. We arrived at the Floodgate Kino pretty on time, but the SUMATRAN FOLK CINEMA was cancelled due to a technical glitch. Sad init?
at the FLOODGATE KINO

Anyway, we watched the Knitflick, a collection of 8 short movies/animations/cartoons with regards to Kniting. Hahahaha it was pretty fun to watch. Honest! We then head out to the Custard Factory which was around the corner to watch the SECRET CINEMA by David O'Reily. It was...... well enlightening. Not much of interest but it was just a tad too long? Some of us fell asleep half way through! Only me and Amar managed to skim through. hehe i'm sure it was a fantastic collection of inspirations for David but we were really tired and eyes were slapping up and down. hehe.

It was then dinner at Chung Ying, the one chinese restaurant that i actually like in Birmingham (cause i've never tried any others yet!) hahaha! As usual i'd order the seafoods and chinese tea. Nothing much there. But rather it was filling! Alhamdulillah. Tonight i sleep a happy man :)

Got home and prayed Maghrib. Sat down with a cup of coffee and orange juice. Started brainstorming for O2 on the bed whilst listening to a few random songs. One of it was Mr. Sinatra. God i love his songs. ;)

Tomorrow's another day. And the weekend is nearly over. Just like THAT! Next week, i'd put it in short terms: HELL BREAKS LOOSE.

Submissions and Competition datelines! I haven't even enrolled for the B-Hive brief yet. Darn it.

Also, am planning a trip to Amsterdam with George and Dao Wen. We'll see how that fairs.

So, am gonna call it an early night today. REALLY early!

Salam!
